The best location for your holiday with your dog: our hotel in Austria

glockna is located in the heart of Hohe Tauern National Park, right on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Hard to beat for dogs – and their owners. Forests, meadows, mountains, fresh air, and paths to explore together. There are plenty of dog-walking routes around glockna – short ones just to stretch your legs, and longer ones for keen explorers. Right from your front door. And when you come back? The bowl’s already waiting. And a few treats as well. Because we know that a happy dog makes for a happy owner.

Dog walks around glockna

Hohe Tauern National Park is to dogs what the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is to motorcyclists – a paradise. New scents at every turn, paths that wind on and on, streams to jump into, and a silence that lets you hear the sounds that are often lost in the noise of daily life. Short walks start right on the doorstep of our dog-friendly hotel in the Alps.
