Every year, around 80,000 motorbikes drive up the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. And there’s no wonder. 36 hairpin bends, 2,504 metres above sea level, views you’ll never forget. glockna is located right where the road begins – making it the ideal base camp for anyone exploring on two wheels or four. Road cyclists know the pass as one of the toughest and most scenic climbs in the Alps. Those who prefer shifting gears to pedalling can tackle the pass by motorbike or sports car.
